How to play
- Enter the players' names (the penalty is already set to buying coffee).
- Press Start and build the ladder with the results hidden.
- Tap a name to follow the ladder and reveal the coffee buyer.
FAQ
- Can I bet on something other than coffee?
- Yes. Write anything in the penalty field, such as buying dessert or snacks.
- How many people can play?
- From 2 to 10 players.
- Is it really fair?
- The result is decided at random, and fairly, the moment you press start. The animation only reveals it. Nobody can pick or predict the outcome in advance.
- Do I need to sign up or install anything?
- No. It's free, and the names and penalties you type stay on this device. Nothing is sent to a server.
- Can I show it on a big screen without ads?
- Yes. Press the "Full screen" button on the game page. Ads and the text around the board are hidden, and only the game fills the screen.
- What kind of site is Tortle?
- Tortle is a free website of luck-based mini games that works instantly, with no sign-up or install. Use the ladder game, roulette wheel, drawing lots (gacha capsules), card draw, dice, turtle race and team split to fairly decide who goes first, who does a chore, who gets a penalty or who wins a prize.
