Tortle Gacha
Set how many capsules each option gets (a prize, a penalty, nothing, and so on), press the button and the drum spins until one capsule drops out. When it opens, the note shows that capsule's option. Use it instead of drawing names from a hat for prize draws or penalty picks.
How to play
- Write a name and number of capsules for each option. You can pick a capsule color too.
- Press and hold PUSH or the space bar, then let go. The drum spins and a capsule drops out.
- The capsule opens and the option on the note is the result.
FAQ
- What is Tortle Gacha?
- Tortle Gacha is the Gacha game on Tortle, a free site of luck-based mini games, with no sign-up or install. Search for "Tortle Gacha" to come straight back here.
- How many capsules can I add?
- From 2 to 100 capsules in total, counting the capsules of every option. Give options different numbers of capsules to change how likely each one is.
- Is this the same as drawing lots or a gacha?
- Yes. It replaces paper lots with a capsule toy machine (gacha). You take capsules out one at a time and read the note inside.
- What are the odds?
- The odds are simply that option's share of the capsules left. The screen shows how many capsules are left for each option, so you can see the next odds right away.
- Can I use it on stream?
- Yes. The stream screen shows only the big capsule machine with no ads, so you can add it straight to OBS.
- Is it really fair?
- The result is decided at random, and fairly, the moment you press start. The animation only reveals it. Nobody can pick or predict the outcome in advance.
- Do I need to sign up or install anything?
- No. It's free, and the names and penalties you type stay on this device. Nothing is sent to a server.
- Can I show it on a big screen without ads?
- Yes. Press the "Full screen" button on the game page. Ads and the text around the board are hidden, and only the game fills the screen.
- What kind of site is Tortle?
- Tortle is a free website of luck-based mini games that works instantly, with no sign-up or install. Use the ladder game, roulette wheel, drawing lots (gacha capsules), card draw, dice, turtle race and team split to fairly decide who goes first, who does a chore, who gets a penalty or who wins a prize.
