Turtle Race

Tortle Turtle Race

Type the names and each one gets a turtle in this random name picker race. The turtles stop for snacks, flip over and sprint at random, so the result stays a mystery until the very end. Use it for prize draws, giveaways, deciding who pays, or setting an order from the full ranking. It also works like a horse race picker or animal race picker, with turtles.

How to play

  1. Enter the players' names and the prize.
  2. Press start and the turtles take off right away.
  3. The owner of the first turtle across the line wins. Watch again replays the whole race.

FAQ

What is Tortle Turtle Race?
Tortle Turtle Race is the Turtle Race game on Tortle, a free site of luck-based mini games, with no sign-up or install. Search for "Tortle Turtle Race" to come straight back here.
How many players can join?
From 2 to 15 players, so it works for a small group or a whole team.
How is a race name picker different from a spinning wheel?
It picks just as randomly. Instead of a pointer, the names race, so everyone can cheer until the end, and the result screen shows the full ranking from first to last, not just one name.
Can I use it like a horse race or animal race game?
Yes. It is a racing draw with turtles instead of horses, so it works like a horse racing or animal race picker. The finishing order is the ranking.
Can I set the order for several people by rank?
Yes. When the race ends, the result screen shows a full ranking from first to last. Use it as is to set the order for presentations, picking seats or any other turns in one go.
Is it really fair?
The result is decided at random, and fairly, the moment you press start. The animation only reveals it. Nobody can pick or predict the outcome in advance.
Do I need to sign up or install anything?
No. It's free, and the names and penalties you type stay on this device. Nothing is sent to a server.
Can I show it on a big screen without ads?
Yes. Press the "Full screen" button on the game page. Ads and the text around the board are hidden, and only the game fills the screen.
